Awesome idea. It looks really cool too, even in raw form, but you could imagine a whole range of printed options.

Looks good, but I would worried about its long-term stability. How would it last for say 3-5 years? Also, over the years, I have seen a lot of computer problems - overheating, ant colonization, spilled drinks, et al. I would be worried about how this would stand-up to those types of incidents.
Overall, it is a great idea and there are a lot of situation where this would easily work.
